One of the most important decisions you’ll make as a parent, is where to send your child to school. With this in mind, we invite you to visit and discover how we can meet the needs of your family.

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Belmore

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School BelmoreHistory
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Belmore was established by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1921 and is located in the Canterbury Council district in the Inner West region of Sydney. The Josephites cared for the school community until 1985, when the first lay principal was appointed.

Charism
Though the Josephite Sisters no longer reside in the community, the school continues to give witness to Mary MacKillop’s vision. It is this vision that drives our school community and is evidenced by our diverse multiculturalism, variety of faith practices and commitment to individualised learning. Currently, the school caters for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6 and includes a high proportion of students with a language background other than English.
